Pet Dentistry 

Dental disease is particularly common in dogs and cats as early as 3 or 4 years of age. Most owners notice bad breath, but some other symptoms include plaque deposition on teeth, gingivitis, excessive salivation, chattering teeth, gum recession, and pain from eating.

We offer a high level of dental care, from the initial assessment to the dental treatment. We use dental equipment similar to those used in the human dentistry field, and perform cleaning of the teeth (scale and polish), dental radiographs, and tooth extraction. These procedures are completed while your animal is under general anaesthesia. 

We recommend a dental check every year as part of the annual check-up and vaccination. 

We stock Dental Prescription Diets for dog and cats to help prevent dental disease, as well as pet toothbrushes, tooth paste, oral washes and products such as Plaque Off and Dente Vet.
